The Chinese Institute of Engineers-USA (CIE-USA), a non-profit professional organization founded in 1917, is proud to host the 14th Annual Asian American Engineer of the Year (AAEOY) award ceremony on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

eweek 2014 As a member of the national DiscoverE (Formerly National Engineers Week) organization’s diversity committee, CIE-USA created the AAEOY Award in 2002 in celebration of the National Engineers Week. The AAEOY Award provides a platform to recognize outstanding Asian-American professionals for their leadership, technical achievements and remarkable public services in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

During the AAEOY Award event, the community will come together to celebrate the achievements of Asian Americans for their global stature and influence with the Distinguished Science and Technology Award and the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award recognitions.

For the past 13 years, the annual AAEOY Award event is sponsored by industry leaders, national laboratories, technical communities, academia, government agencies and prominent US companies. Over 600 distinguished guests, honorees, corporate executives and community leaders are expected to attend the 2015 event in Los Angeles.

The 2015 AAEOY Executive Planning Committee, representing The Overseas Chinese Environment Engineers & Scientists Association (OCEESA) and the Southern California chapters of the Chinese Institute of Engineers-USA (CIE-SOCAL), will work with the community organizations, corporate sponsors, institutions and agencies to shine the spot lights on the national stage, and salute our heroes of Asian cultural heritage in Southern California.
